The collaborator of our journal in health, Dr. Alfonso Morán, tells us in this article of our magazine the keys to identify a hypoglycemia (lowering of blood glucose) and how to act when we meet an individual with this problem.
Hypoglycemia is a state of discomfort that occurs when the level of glucose (sugar) in the blood is too low, and may reach an unconsciousness or coma of the person who suffers. Glucose is the most important source of energy we have for our body and for our brain, and it will come from the food and drink we drink. Insulin will help glucose enter the cells, where it will be used as an Energy Source.
In the section that we call “Healthy Advice” in the pages of our magazine, we advance a little more in this topic at the hands of Dr. Alfonso Moral de Médical Service.
