As a teenager, Konnie Slyziut aspired to be a professional athlete of fitness and music. At 22, he has already achieved one of his goals.
MANY YOUNG WOMEN spend their adolescence and early twenties going from party to party. However, Konnie Slyziut does not belong to that majority: he started playing the viola at age five, and lately he has focused on combining a career as a professional musician with that of a professional bodyfitness athlete. Now, at 22, his dedication is paying off. She is the youngest IFBB Elite Pro in Britain and is studying a masters degree in viola thanks to a scholarship at the prestigious Linity Conservatory of Music in London.
“I’ve always been very disciplined and dedicated,” says Konnie. “When I want something in life or when I set goals, I do it no matter what it costs me. I give everything and I really give myself. Someone once told me that I have arrived where I am by maintaining this stubborn attitude of “doing whatever is necessary”. This is authentic in bodybuilding, since I always dreamed of gaining professional status. I have made many sacrifices, but I have achieved my goals. “.
In our last magazine we know more about this young Lithuanian athlete that we will hear a lot about in future seasons.
