Ewa: Hello Natalia, last year’s Arnold Classic Europe belonged to you. We have seen your spectacular success on the Arnold Classic Europe’s junior stage. You won everything, including the Overall. Did you plan this scenario?
Natalia: Hello, first let me say I would like to thank you for the invitation for this interview, I am very pleased. Answering the question, I went to Arnold Classic Europe hoping for a high place, as every competitor aspires for the best. Each start is a new experience for me, I was aiming at the top 3. But it went as well as possible and I am very happy about it!
Ewa: Just tell me, how did this all begin for you?
Natalia: I have been involved in sports since I was a child. Then when I changed schools, I decided to stop playing basketball. Then, I fell in love with strength training and I trained every day, I started to follow a diet and got very involved in it overnight. A year before my debut, I thought it’s worth checking out myself on stage. I wanted to prepare in a professional way, so I was looking for a person who would help me with this. I found my trainer – Adrian Cyronek. Can say that all of my adventure with this sport started accidentally thanks to Instagram and the competitors who inspired me there.
Ewa: Is it really worth it to live such a disciplined lifestyle? To be on a strict diet and to be training hard every day?
Natalia: In my opinion, it’s worth having a passion and striving for something. The training strengthens me not only physically but also mentally. This whole process allows me to develop in many ways. Sometimes it’s hard and you can’t hide it, but successes and satisfaction with your own work give strength in these weaker moments. Diet? It’s rather a lifestyle, but out of season, I do allow myself to eat something that’s not from the diet menu!
Ewa: How does your diet look?
Natalia: It is obvious that I eat less during the competition season. The diet is limited to only a few basics and the least processed products. During the offseason, I have more room to maneuver and fulfill myself as a chef.
Ewa: Do you have time for entertainment?
Natalia: Yes of course. I always take it easy after an intensive season. I devote more time to my family and friends. It’s good, because the season ends at the beginning of December, so during Christmas and New Year’s Eve I am fully devoted to my loved ones.
