Today, October 1st it is celebrated all over the world the Day of this famous drink, an essential one for many of us.
According to recent studies, having a coffee right after waking up does not have the same effect as drinking it 2 hours later, which is due to cortisol, or also called the stress hormone.
The high point of the day for this hormone is around 8 – 9 in the morning, that’s the moment when caffeine wouldn’t be necessary. So it is recommended to have it 2 hours after waking up, at least the first one.
